RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Morgan Street Food Hall, which has been in the works for several years, is almost ready to open for hungry visitors.

  • The food hall will open July 23 in Raleigh.
  • It includes food vendors from across the area.
  • It will be open seven days a week.

The food hall is slated to open on July 23 and will include vendors from across the Triangle.

Many of the places to eat are already popular in the area but may not have already established a brick and mortar restaurant.

Companies like Cousins Maine Lobster and Oak City Fish & Chips have food trucks in the area, but they say they need a new location that is centralized.

"We post our schedule weekly, but we still get phone calls, 'Where you going to be? Where you going to be,'" said Cousins' owner Deb Keller.

"I actually had a few angry customers saying 'I love your food but I don't want to chase around the food truck anymore,'" said Oak City's owner Isaac B. Horton.

The food hall will be open seven days a week starting at 11 a.m. It is located at 411 West Morgan Street in Raleigh.
