PALM COAST, Fla. -- A 19-year-old man was arrested Saturday after he pistol-whipped another man during a fight at a shopping center in Palm Coast, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Christopher Quinjano and Matthew Bauman were fighting tin the parking lot of the Target Shopping Plaza on State Road 100. During the fight, Quinjano struck Bauman in the face with a handgun, deputies said.

When deputies arrived at the scene at 8:40 p.m., they found Bauman bleeding from injuries to his face and ear.

Quinjano also fired a round from the handgun during the fight, deputies said. The bullet shattered the back window of a vehicle and became lodged in the headrest of the passenger's seat.

No other injuries were reported.

Quinjano was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $100,000 bond.

He faces multiple charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and discharge of a firearm in public.
