CENTRAL FLORIDA -- It was another stormy afternoon across Central Florida, with highs back in the low 90s. The clouds will partially clear overnight, leaving humid conditions and overnight lows in the low 70s.

For Monday, the hot and humid conditions continue with highs in the low 90s.

Showers and storms will again develop in the afternoon, with the best chance Orlando and points west. Overnight lows will stay muggy and warm in the mid-70s.

The typical morning-sunshine-and-evening-storms routine will continue for the rest of the week, with highs holding in the low 90s.

Sea surface temperatures sitting in the low 80s allow a great escape from the heat. For surfers, the surf cast will be very poor to poor for tomorrow with wave hits at 1 to 2 feet.

The rip current threat remains low. The ultra violet index continues to be very high, so do not forget to reapply sunscreen.

Tropical Update

In the tropics, no development is expected in the next five days.
