CLERMONT, Fla. -- Surveillance video from Scates Realty on East Highway 50 in Clermont shows someone spray painting their sign with the word "Virus."

  • "Virus" being spray-painted on places across Clermont
  • Police are looking for the vandal
  • So far there have been 14 cases

Owner Eileen Scates gave a copy of the video to Clermont Police.

"With our time stamp of the camera they were able to talk to the other businesses and get their information so we're able to build something for them," said Scates.

Police say Scates Realty is one of 14 cases involving the graffiti that includes the word "VIRUS."

"I don't know if it's bored kids, I don't know if it's adults. I don't know what it means," said Scates.

"A lot of people know what we stand for, they know that we do a lot in the community. The signs pink because we're big advocates for breast cancer and cancer foundations and just to see somebody not only tag our building but then on the pink part- it's disheartening," she said.

Other cases include a fence, a building at the National Training Center, a hotel under construction, delivery trucks and a wall at Hillside Villas.
