Temperatures will stay in the 80s for the next several days, but an approaching front will bring a few changes for Friday. Expect a little more cloud cover and a slight chance for showers and storms to end our work week. Quiet weather quickly returns this weekend.

Mostly clear skies will continue through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be mild, falling into the mid to low 60s. With some moisture moving in and light winds, areas of fog will be possible early Friday morning.

A front will slide through Central Florida Friday, bringing a chance for showers and possibly a storm throughout the day. Some of the storms could contain gusty wind and lightning.

Expect partly sunny skies otherwise as temperatures climb into the mid to low 80s. The front moves out quickly and sunshine returns for the weekend with temperatures staying in the 80s.

If heading to the beach or out on the boat Friday, watch for developing storms that contain lightning. Breezy winds may cause a chop on the water and there is a moderate rip current threat.
