ORLANDO, Fla. — We've closed the weekend with showers and a few storms, and the rain chances will continue overnight.

Expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers across the region. Overnight lows will only fall into the upper 60s.

The unsettled weather continues to start the work week Monday. Our pesky storm system will remain in place, keeping mostly cloudy skies and rain chances. Scattered showers and a few storms will again develop throughout the day, with highs back in the mid 80s.

A cold front will move through Tuesday, finally bringing an end to the rain chances. Scattered showers will be likely in the morning, with improving conditions by evening. Highs for Tuesday will be in the mid 80s.

Quieter and drier weather is on track to arrive midweek. Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures in the low to mid 80s.

The nice weather will continue heading into Friday. We’ll see partly cloudy skies and highs to close the work week in the low 80s.

Another storm system will likely arrive next weekend. There is high uncertainty about the timing of the system and rain chances developing. Right now, scattered showers will be possible both weekend days with highs in the low to mid 80s.

A small craft caution will be in place for Monday, with seas at 4 to 6 feet and southerly winds at 10 to 15 knots. Surfers will have poor to fair conditions Monday, with an southeasterly windswell. The rip current threat will again be moderate to start the work week.
