ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — A person was recovered from a pond and airlifted to a hospital following a Tampa-area skydiving incident.

The incident happened just before noon at Skydive City in Zephyrhills, Fla., Pasco County Fire Rescue said.
"The female parachutist, whose name has yet to be released, came in low on landing approach, attempting a swooping technique over a pond of water," the Zephyrhills Police Department said in a news release.
Authorities said she was alert and conscious.
Firefighters and Zephyrhills Police are still investigating.
