A 43-year-old woman was struck and killed by an SUV near the Lake Square Mall on Sunday evening, police say.

Lisa Grantham of Tavares tried to walk across U.S. Highway 441 when she was struck by a 2004 Toyota Highlander.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said she walked into the path of the Toyota.
Northbound U.S. 441 was closed for about four hours after the crash.
