MASCOTTE, Fla. — Three women, all in their mid-20s, were killed in a vehicle crash at the intersection of State Road 50 and South Talbott on Sunday, police said.

According to the Mascotte Police Department, a vehicle traveling on South Talbott, with four women inside, went through the intersection and hit a vehicle traveling eastbound on State Road 50 at about 2:10 a.m.

That vehicle had one person inside — a female driver. 

Both vehicles landed near City Hall after the impact, police said. 

Two of the women were pronounced dead at the scene and one was pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center. 

One of the passengers in the vehicle traveling on Talbott was taken to Orlando Medical Regional Center and is in critical condition, according to police. 

The driver of the vehicle traveling eastbound on State Road 50 was treated on the scene and released. 

Police have not released any further details in the crash.
