Nicholas Gordon, ex-boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, was arrested in Sanford on Saturday, police said.

Gordon, 28, is accused of beating up his current girlfriend, Laura Leal.

Leal, 26, told police that Gordon had hit and punched her after an argument.

She and Gordon went out to eat at Duffy’s Sports Bar in Lake Mary to watch the NBA playoff game, an arrest report said.

After the game was over, the two returned home and got into a “heated” argument.

Leal told police Gordon became angry because he thought she was trying to “hook up with one of his friends” at the sports bar.

During the fight, Leal said Gordon smashed her phone, so she had no way of calling for help, a police report said.

According to the police report, Gordon punched her when she tried to leave.

Gordon was later arrested and taken to the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.

He has been charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment.

Gordon is under investigation for the 2015 death of Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston. Brown’s estate filed a wrongful death suit against him. Gordon was found legally responsible for her death in 2016 after he failed to appear in court.
