The man accused of vandalizing a Titusville mosque in January 2016 has entered a guilty plea for criminal mischief at a place of worship, with a hate crime enhancement.

The first day of jury selection has concluded Tuesday for Michael Wolfe, who is accused of using a machete to cause damage to the mosque and leaving raw bacon on the property as an insult.

The Quran prohibits Muslims from eating pork.

Wolfe is being charged with criminal mischief to a mosque.

Wolfe had also been ordered to stay away from any mosques in Brevard County.
