The St. Cloud Police Department is investigating a hit and run accident on Monday that's left a person hospitalized and in critical condition.

Police responded to the incident on the 500 block of Ponderosa Drive around 6:30 p.m. The male victim was allegedly walking on the block when he was struck by a car that fled the scene.
The victim was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center and is in critical condition.
The suspect reportedly was driving a small silver/gray Jeep SUV with damage on the front of it.
