Former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile admitted she entered into an agreement to allow Hillary Clinton to control the day-to-day operations in 2015.

That is well before Clinton had secured the presidential nomination, Brazile claimed.

"Brazile … alleges that an unethical agreement was signed between Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and the DNC to keep the party financially afloat," CNN reported.

The revelations came from Brazile's newly released excerpts from her forthcoming book: "Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House."

Brazile claimed that the DNC was rigged and allowed the Clinton campaign control of the "party's finances, strategy and all the money raised."

"Her campaign had the right of refusal of who would be the party communications director, and it would make final decisions on all the other staff," Brazile wrote.

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren and other members of the party say this is a clear sign the DNC favored Clinton over her primary opponent, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Warren said she believes that the DNC was "rigged" in favor of the former Democratic presidential nominee during the 2016 primary.

Warren said the party must be held accountable.

President Donald Trump tweeted his response, saying that the people are asking why the Justice Department is not investigating "Crooked Hillary."

Clinton and Sanders have not yet responded to the allegations.
