Florida's first Wawa is open.

The convenience store is the first of 100 stores coming to Central Florida and the Tampa area, located on the Central Florida Parkway across from SeaWorld.

Governor Rick Scott, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs were on hand for the opening.

Wawa is known for made-to-order salads and hoagies, as well as gas.

Four more will open in the Orlando area over the next five weeks.

There are nearly 600 Wawa stores across the Northeast.

To mark Wawa's arrival in Florida, the store is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank and will donate a portion of the profits from first week sales at those stores.  They hope to raise $25,000.
