“Cutting taxes” is one of those political catchphrases that come along anytime there’s an election, but does cutting taxes REALLY help the consumer?  Governor Rick Scott has talked about the numerous tax cuts he’s enacted during his tenure.  The question is… do they make a significant difference for the taxpayer?  Or is this just a tax break for corporations, who some say are the only ones profiting from such cuts?  And is a “fee reduction” really a “tax cut?”  And exactly WHERE can taxes be cut that will be beneficial to the taxpayer without losing funding for essential services?  Guests:  State Sen. Kelli Stargel (R-Lakeland), State Rep. Wengay Newton (D-St. Petersburg), Orange County Property Appraiser Rick Singh, former Congressman Alan Grayson (D).
