ORLANDO, Fla.  — New details in a deadly home invasion in Orange County that claimed the life of 20-year-old Alex Correa near the University of Central Florida a week ago have been released and his parents hope arrests will be made.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office released images of two persons of interest in the case.

Detectives released images of what may have been the getaway car, which is thought to be a 2008 or 2012 black Nissan Altima.

There is a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the getaway car and the people who were in it.

The individuals detectives believe are connected to the deadly home invasion are a black woman, who stands at 5 foot, 5 inches to 5 foot, 7 inches and weighs between 110 and 130 pounds.

The other person who police are looking for is a young white man who stands between 5 foot, 7 inches to 5 foot, 9 inches and weighs between 130 to 150 pounds.

There was no other detailed information provided by the Sheriff's Office.

The black Nissan Altima was seen leaving the scene and may have been the vehicle the suspects took off in.

A viewing service was held for Correa on Monday and his family is hoping this new information will lead to arrests.

"If you know anything just come forward because these people don't belong; they are cowards. They don't belong out there in society, they really don't," said his father, William Correa.

According to the Orange County Sherriff's Office, Alex Correa was shot during a home invasion on January 14.

His family told Spectrum News 13 he tried to fight off four men who broke into the home wearing masks.

His parents said he spent the his last few minutes of his life trying to protect four people who were inside of the home.
