TAMPA, Fla. – Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has added more dates to its popular Summer Nights event.

What You Need To Know

  • Busch Gardens extends Summer Nights

  • Event will now run Friday-Sunday through September 6

  • Adventure Island will also now be open on Thursdays through Labor Day weekend

The event, which was initial set for every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through August 16, will now go through Labor Day weekend, the theme park announced Tuesday.

This year’s event has been slightly modified due to coronavirus-related restrictions. The 2020 edition includes a new laser and fireworks show at the end of the night with socially-distancing seating at Festival Field. Visitors can also enjoy thrill rides and a limited time menu that features barbecue-inspired dishes.

In addition to additional date for Summer Nights, Busch Gardens also announced Adventure Island will be open an extra day every week. The water park will now be open on Thursdays through Labor Day weekend.

Earlier this year, the water park debuted a brand-new attraction called Solar Vortex, a dual tailspin water slide.

Busch Gardens and Adventure Island reopened in June with a number health and safety measures, including face mask guidelines, temperature checks and social distancing protocols.
