Blooloop, a theme park industry website, has released its first-ever "50 Theme Park Influencers" list.

And it features several creative minds who have ties to Disney World, Universal and other Orlando-area attractions.

Created by a panel of industry experts, the list is designed to highlight "the most talented people across the theme park industry" each year.

"Our influencers are making waves in all corners of the industry and include a broad range of innovators, entrepreneurs, designers and executives," wrote Charles Read, managing director of Blooloop, in the introduction to the list.

At the top of the list are:

  • Thierry Coup - Senior vice president of Universal Parks & Resorts
  • Bob Iger - Chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company
  • John Jakobsen - Chief new openings officer, Merlin Entertainments
  • Joe Rohde – Portfolio creative executive, Walt Disney Imagineering
  • Nick Varney – CEO of Merlin Entertainments

Others included on the list are Andrew Darrow, chief strategy and business development officer of The Void; Pam Landwirth, president and CEO of Give Kids the World; Cecil D. Magpuri, president and CCO of Falcon's Creative Group, Kathy Mangum, senior vice president of Walt Disney Imagineering; and Gilles Ste-Croix and Guy Laliberté, co-founders of Cirque du Soleil.

The Blooloop 50 was created in partnership with Omnico Group.
