The Orlando Pride has signed midfielder Dani Weatherholt to a new contract. Per team and league policies, terms of the contact were not announced.

The 23-year-old Weatherholt was the Pride’s 31st overall pick in the 2016 NWSL College Draft out of Santa Clara.

In 2017, Weatherholt appeared in 19 matches (17 starts) and scored her first professional goal on Aug. 12, helping the team to a record-setting win over Sky Blue FC.
