About the matchup:

The last time the Kentucky Wildcats beat the Florida Gators it was 1986. Since then, UF has a 30 game win streak over their SEC East competition.

The Gators have plenty of momentum going into Saturday after their jaw dropping Hail Mary victory over Tennessee last weekend, when QB Feleipe Franks sailed it 63 yards to WR Tyrie Cleveland with less than 10 seconds left. But the excitement of that play doesn’t dim the fact that UF had issues, with three turnovers and several missed tackles against the Vols.

The Wildcats are starting the season 3-0 with hopes of their first 4-0 start since 2008. Not only do they have that 30 game losing streak as motivation, but of a more recent history, the Wildcats lost last season to the Gators 45-7.

Three and out:

1. UF didn’t score their first offensive touchdown of 2017 until 5:13 remaining, when Franks hit WR Brandon Powell for a 5-yard TD.

2. Freshman CB C.J. Henderson has returned an interception for a touchdown in each of the first two games of his college career.

3. CB Duke Dawson remains questionable for the trip to Kentucky as he goes through concussion protocol following a hit during the Tennessee game.
