The No. 22 UCF baseball team (40-20) will be heading to an NCAA Regional tournament for the first time since 2012.   UCF will be the No. 2 seed in the Tallahassee Regional along with No. 3 seed Auburn, No. 4 seed Tennessee Tech., and host No. 1 seed Florida State.

The Knights claimed the AAC regular-season championship earlier this month winning it's first conference title since 2004 when they won the ASUN regular-season crown.

This will be the 12th time that the Knights have appeared in NCAA Regionals including seven times in Tallahassee, twice in Gainesville, and once at both Columbia and Miami.

The double-elimination regional tournament is set to begin on Friday June 2nd at Dick Howser Stadium on the campus of Florida State.    The winner of the Tallahassee regional will advance to the NCAA Super Regional on June 9th.
