Team info: Lakeland Christian is the two-time defending state champs, going for their third-straight title. …Canterbury won back-to-back titles in 2013-14. Haven’t advanced to a title game since their last title.

Academy of the Holy Names advanced to their first state semifinals with a 6-2 win over Tampa Catholic in the regional finals. …Eustis is also playing in its first state final four.

Land O’ Lakes is in its second-straight final four. They were knocked out by defending state champs American Heritage in the semifinal round. …Lake Region won state titles in 1998 and 2000 and were state runner ups in 1997, 2014 and 2016. They lost to Gainesville 1-0 in last year’s title game.

Plant City upset Lakewood Ranch 1-0 in 11 innings to advance to its first state semifinals. …West Orange is the defending 9A champs. It was their second state title.

Palm Harbor University is back in the state semifinals for the first time since 2005 when the Canes won their second-straight title and third overall.
