The top high school baseball teams in Central Florida, as selected by the Spectrum Sports staff:

1. West Orange (19-3) – Warriors, winners of 13 straight, have only allowed three total runs in their last six games.  

2. Lake Brantley (15-4) – Patriots, who close out their Seminole Athletic Conference schedule this week, are 26-2 against the SAC since 2015.    

3. First Academy (17-2) – Royals need one win against Trinity Catholic in this week’s district series to lock up the top seed in the 4A, District 3 tourney.

4. Orange City University (18-5) – Streaking Titans have won 10 of their last 11 games.  

5. Viera (14-4) – Final two weeks of the regular season includes three matchups with ranked teams.

6. Eau Gallie (17-3) – Commodores have already won more games this season than they did in 2014, ’15 or ‘16.  

7. Hagerty (15-6) – 11 seniors will play their final regular season home game Wednesday night against Lake Brantley on Spectrum Sports.

8. Rockledge (15-5) – Raider, winners of five straight games, will host Merritt Island in their regular season district finale Friday night.

9. Merritt Island (15-5) – Mustangs, nationally ranked in the preseason, have won seven straight and appear to be peaking in time for the platoffs.

10. Apopka (12-8) – A pair of wins against Wekiva elevated the Blue Darters to the three seed for the 9A, District 3 tournament.
