The No. 3 ranked baseball team in Central Florida flexed its muscles Tuesday night as the First Academy Royals blew out the unranked Trinity Prep Saints 14–1 in five innings. The game was televised live on Spectrum Sports.

It was the first 4A-District 3 game for the Royals who came in with a record of 9-2, while Trinity Prep came into the game with an unblemished district record (4-0) and an overall record of 8-2.

TFA sophomore right-hander Joseph Charles pitched five stellar innings allowing only two hits.

Miami commit Slade Cecconi pitched three innings for Trinity Prep, throwing 65 pitches and giving up 8 runs.

Notre Dame signee Cash Case went 2-for-3 with 3 runs scored, 3 RBI and a 2-run home run that propelled First Academy to an 8-run fourth inning. Royals junior centerfielder Kendrick Calilao, who is committed to Florida, also got into the act in the fourth inning with a towering home run of his own.

First Academy improves it's record to 10-2 and 1-0 in in the district, while Trinity Prep falls to 8-3 overall and 4-1 in district play.
