The top high school softball teams in Central Florida, as selected by the Spectrum Sports staff:

1. Timber Creek (11-1) – Wolves pitching has been terrific with a total of five runs allowed during 10-game winning streak.

2. West Orange (10-2) – Warriors face Lake Minneola in the first game of the eight team Montverde Academy Invitational Softball Tournament on Thursday.

3. St. Cloud (8-1) – Bulldogs will be busy in the next couple weeks with six games in a stretch of 11 days.    

4. Eustis (8-1) – Panthers scratched out a 3-2 win at South Sumter last month and will host the Raiders on Friday night.

5. Deltona (8-1) – Wolves return from spring break with a game against Mainland on Tuesday night.

6. Hagerty (8-4) – Seven of the Huskies 12 games have come against state ranked teams.

7. Rockledge (10-2) – Junior pitcher Ashley Stephenson is 6-0 and has allowed only two earned runs in 47.1 innings.

8. Spruce Creek (6-3) – Hawks will face Astronaut on Friday afternoon as they host the 16-team Battle at the Beach.

9. Lake Howell (7-5) – Silver Hawks are 4-1 in their last five games, all of which have come against state ranked teams.

10. Winter Springs (7-3) – Sophomore Kaley Mudge (FSU commit) has reached base in 12 of her last 14 plate appearances.
