After trailing for most of the night, the Osceola Kowboys scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to come back and defeat East Ridge 7-3.

The Knights took a 3-1 lead in the third inning after a single by sophomore Brandon McBride scored two runs, as the ball was overthrown into right field. Senior Bradley Donelick and McBride scored on the error.

Knights starting pitcher Blake Baker threw five innings, scattering three hits, while walking four. But in the sixth inning, a single by Jorge Ramirez, followed by a walk to Luis Torres, chased Baker from the game.

Relief pitcher Carson Schlegel lasted only 1.1 innings and allowed four of the final five runs the Kowboys would score.

Ramirez would be named player of the game, after his single in the seventh inning proved to score the game-winning runs when the ball skipped past the left fielder.

Osceola evens up their record at 5-5 and stops a three-game losing streak, while East Ridge loses for the second time this season to the Kowboys and falls to 7-6-1.
