For one of the best players in the entire country in the class of 2018 look no further than Lorenzo Lingard. The five star running back of Orange City University is rated by 247 Sports as the 2nd best running back in the nation. Last season, the speedster, known just by Lo to the Titans rushed for over 1,400 yards and found the endzone 24 times. You can virtually name any school and they’re trying to get Lingard on their campus. Florida, Florida State, Miami, Alabama, Ohio State to name a few. University head coach Brian Kells says they don’t even keep track of how many offers Lingard has but that all the attention is certainly justified.

“I definitely think it’s warranted,” Orange City University head coach Brian Kells said. “He’s a really good kid, great running back. Great size, good character, so yeah, I think it’s warranted, and he plays 8A football in the state of Florida, so I like he should be the number 1 back in the country I’ll be honest with you.”

William Barnes doesn’t block for Lingard but he’s primed to be the next big offensive lineman to come out of Apopka. The 6’4” 290 pound offensive tackle is ranked as the 10th best in the country. The 4 star recruit has offers from the 3 major Florida schools.

When you talk defense, look no further than Jones. A stacked senior class is led by Stacy Kirby. He’s the 8th best weak side defensive end in the country and has offers from almost every school in the SEC.

“It’s an amazing feeling to know people feel so highly of me,” Kirby said. “Just to be able to be ranked because not everyone gets to be rated and have those stars, but they gave them to me and it’s a blessing and I’m just grateful for it.”

The Tigers Sevyn Banks holds 12 offers and talks to Ohio State and Virginia the most. But the defensive back still has his sights set on finishing off strong next season.

“One of my goals as a team is to make it to states and win a state championship and get the most picks in Central Florida,” Banks said.

So mark your calendars for February 7, 2018 to find out where all the top talent ends up.
