The Orlando Magic has quietly completed their preseason schedule and look ahead to open up its regular season tomorrow night here in Orlando.

Now it may feel a bit early for the Magic to be hosting its season opener but it is true as the NBA pushed up its season just over a week to try to limit back-to-back games this season.

Regardless the team under Frank Vogel—in his second year—is eager to start the season and more so let his guys show you what they’ve been working on this off season.

“When everybody is playing together and we’re playing up and down and running –I’m just ready to see it in real time in a regular season game to see how we matchup,” Magic rookie forward Jonathan Isaac said on Tuesday.

“[There are] A lot of positives from this preseason a lot of reasons for us to be excited,” second year coach Frank Vogel explained.

“The familiarity with the group that’s returning and some of the new guys has given us lift from an energy standpoint so our guys are excited.”

The team is also putting an emphasis on building on its chemistry away from the court.

“I feel togetherness with us, cohesiveness—just everybody likes each other right now. We went out to dinner last night and had a good time,” Isaac added.

“I think you have to have good team chemistry to be a good team,” 7-year veteran Nikola Vucevic explained. “You know you look at the best teams and they have good team chemistry and get along together. The biggest show of team chemistry shows when things don’t go well. How you handle it as a team? If the team falls a part or sticks together, so that will be our biggest test.”

Now it’s worth noting –the Orlando Magic, who went 29-53 last season, are .500 against the Miami Heat at Amway Center. They’ve also won the last 4 of 6 contests against Miami. Tip off  slated for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
