Maria Jespersen tied her career-high with 26 points, on 11-of-18 shooting, Ariadna Pujol had a double-double and coach Jose Fernandez earned his 300th career win as No. 23 South Florida cruised to a 79-49 victory over Memphis on Tuesday night.

Pujol scored 15 of her 17 points in the second half and finished with 10 rebounds and five assists. Laia Flores added 11 points and Kitija Laska scored 10 for USF (15-2, 4-1 American Athletic Conference), which has won seven of its last eight games.

Jespersen scored 14 points during a 20-7 run that spanned halftime and gave the Bulls a 41-24 lead with 7:16 to play. Taylor Williams scored eight points, including back-to-back 3s, and Brea Elmore added another 3-pointer to pull Memphis to 46-35 with 3:46 left in the third quarter, but Pujol converted a 3-point play and then made a layup to spark a 12-0 spurt that made it 58-35 with nine minutes to go.

Williams and Cheyenne Creighton scored 13 apiece and Elmore added 12 points for the Tigers (8-10, 1-4).

USF scored 19 points of 17 Memphis turnovers.
