The top high school boys basketball teams in Central Florida, as selected by the Bright House Sports Network staff:

1. First Academy (13-1) – Royals, who face Master’s Academy Saturday night on Spectrum Sports, have scored 80 or more points in four straight games.

2. Osceola (13-2) – Frankie Fabian produced the game winning basket with five seconds remaining as the Kowboys edged Master’s Academy 67-66 at the Showdown in O-Town.

3. Oak Ridge (11-3) – Pioneers eclipsed the century mark in last Wednesday’s 104-85 victory against Timber Creek.

4. Wekiva (12-4) – Challenging week for the Mustangs includes games against Evans (Wednesday) and Dr. Phillips (Friday).  

5. Orlando Christian Prep (11-4) – Warriors will meet last year’s 4A runner-up Holy Trinity in Saturday’s Master’s Classic on Spectrum Sports.

6. Windermere Prep (8-5) – Lakers face three tough opponents during a four day stretch this week: at Jones (Wednesday), Lake Highland (Friday) and Edgewater (Saturday).

7. Master’s Academy (10-4) – Last second loss to Osceola snapped a streak of eight straight victories for the Eagles.

8. The Villages (16-1) – Only loss for the Buffalo came at the hands of 8A state title contender Tampa Sickles.  

9. Dr. Phillips (12-5) – Panthers won pair of close games last week, defeating Olympia 59-51 and Tampa Wharton 59-55.

10. Evans (10-4) – Trojans face Wekiva Wednesday night on Spectrum Sports with a chance to avenge a 72-45 loss last month.
