The Tampa Bay Storm (2-14, 0-8) were defeated by the Jacksonville Sharks (7-9, 5-3) by a score of 54-35 in front of 10,324 fans at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Storm were led by quarterback Jason Boltus, who completed 17-of-36 passes for 231 yards and four touchdowns.  His top target of the night was Prechae Rodriguez who caught six passes 43 yards and a touchdown.

The Storm started out fast with Toliver scoring on two consecutive drives.  Storm defensive back Nick Addison would tack on an additional touchdown on a 17-yard fumble return after forcing a fumble on special teams.  The Storm’s lead would be short-lived as the Jacksonville defense would tighten up.

The Sharks were led by a defense that forced six turnovers on downs, holding the Storm scoreless on three consecutive drives.  The Sharks defensive line sacked Boltus four times.  Sharks defensive back Keon Lyn led the team with 10.0 total tackles.

The Storm will play the winner of this evening’s Philadelphia Soul-Orlando Predators matchup in the first round of the Arena Football League Postseason next week.  The Soul are currently leading the Predators by a score of 60-52.
