The 2A State volleyball championship between St. John Lutheran Saints and the Geneva School Knights turned into a one-sided affair, as the Saints took home the title in straight sets.

St. John, led by Leah Wilcox who finished with 19 kills, and Kaylee Thomas, who finished with 19 kills, 2 blocks and 2 aces, were just too much for the Knights out of Winter Park.

The duo of Wilcox and Thomas dominated the court, and took home co-player of the game honors.

The Knights, who were going for their first ever state title, kept it close in the first two sets, led by Jordyn Stiger's 10 kills, but in the end were not able to overcome the powerhouse that was St. John Lutheran.

The Saints take home their second title in three years, and have yet to miss the playoffs under head coach Jason LaBorde.
