Wekiva earns playoff berth with a win over West Orange Thursday night on BHSN, 49-20.

West Orange (2-6, 1-2) struck first in the 8A-4 District contest courtesy of Darrian Williams.

But the Mustangs (6-3, 2-1) would rake in the next three scores, capped off with a pass break up by Malcolm Green that was returned by Jerard Wesley for a 66-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter.

The Mustangs led at the half, 28-14, and would continue to pile on the offense with player of the game Jaylon Fair finishing with three rushing scores and one through the air from Trey McGee, for a total of 250 yards.

Wekiva will play East River in next week's regular season finale, before traveling to Winter Park in two weeks for the first round of the postseason.

West Orange wraps up the disappointing campaign at Ocoee next Friday.
