With no Ronni Williams (UF) and an injured Destiny Woodard, who is a McDonald’s All-American nominee, it was hard for Atlantic to compete with No. 1 Lake Highland Prep Tuesday night.

Despite a poor first half showing, the Highlanders put on the jets in the second half to defeat district foe Atlantic, 69-36.

Junior Destinee Walker and sophomore guard Jordan Lewis led the attack combining for 49 points.

Shark’s Kari Scatling had a team high 14 points while Princess Thomas netted 12.

Lake Highland Prep will now look ahead to another district showdown Thursday night against No. 2 Jones.
