Johnson, a transfer from Lake Howell, recorded 236 kills for the Silver Hawks last season. She did not play in the preseason but coach Kim Vach says Johnson is eligible and will play in the regular season opener. Johnson, Caffrey and freshman Sydney Vach were teammates on Orlando Volleyball Academy’s 14 Asics team, which won an AAU national title. Smith racked up 932 assists last year as a freshman.
