Disney had a special treat for fans on Saturday at its D23 Expo.

At the end of the company’s live-action presentation, director Jon Favreau showcased a teaser for the upcoming Lion King remake. “We love this movie and we are working hard,” Favreau said.

The clip featured jaw-dropping shots of an African landscapes and several CG animals. As “Circle of Life” played, Rafiki lifts a young Simba on Pride Rock, a scene mimicking one from the 1994 original.

Donald Glover and James Earl Jones will provide the voices for Simba and Mufasa, respectively.

“The Lion King” is scheduled for a July 19, 2019 release.
