Three new Italian restaurants will be coming to Disney Springs later this year, the Patina Restaurant Group announced Monday.

  • 3 new restaurants announced for Disney Springs
  • Will be located in the dining complex with The Edison
  • Each will feature an Italian-themed menu

Maria & Enzo’s, Enzo’s Hideaway and Pizza Pointe will be part of the dining complex that includes The Edison, which is currently under construction.

“I’m delighted to announce that we will be opening a trattoria named Maria & Enzo’s, as well as Enzo’s Hideaway, a separate restaurant in what were said to rum-running tunnels, which is destine to be become a local favorite, said Nick Valenti, CEO of Patina Restaurant Group. “They are inspired by the cuisines of Sicily and Rome, the Italian family, and the best of Italian modern cooking.”

Maria & Enzo’s, an Italian trattoria, will be themed after an abandoned airline terminal from the 1930s that have been transformed into a restaurant. The décor will feature maps, historic flight paths and other references to air travel. Fifty-foot ceilings in the dining room will provide views of Lake Buena Vista. The restaurant will offer family-friendly dishes such as melanzane parmigiana (eggplant parmesan), handmade pastas and steaks.

Enzo’s Hideaway will include a speakeasy bar element, inspired by Roman aperitivo bars. Prohibition-era cocktails will be served at the Tunnel Bar. The bar will serve Prohibition-style cocktails as well as a menu featuring more casual Italian dishes. Enzo’s Hideaway will be located in the underground rum-running tunnel that connects to Maria & Enzo’s.

Pizza Pointe, the third restaurant coming to Disney Springs, will be a quick-service style dining location. The menu will offer pastries, pizza, Italian sandwiches and espresso.

All three restaurants are slated to open this winter. A specific opening date has not yet been announced.

Meanwhile, The Edison—which will sport an “industrial gothic” theme—will offer classic American food, cocktails and live entertainment. It is currently set to open this year.
