Star Wars: Galactic Nights, an after-hours event for Star Wars fans, returns to Disney World on Dec. 16.

The first-ever Galactic Nights was held in April, during Star Wars Celebration in Orlando.

To raise anticipation, Disney has revealed some of the food and beverage items that will be offered later this year.

New this year is the shrimp and chorizo skewer, a dish that includes chorizo sausage, sweet potato hash and shrimp. Another new item is the Tatooine bisque, which is inspired by the sandstorms of the Star Wars planet.

For those with a sweet tooth, there’s sweet and crunchy popcorn which is covered in cookies, chocolate, caramel and pecans.

Some returning items include the popular Lightsaber churro and the Lightsaber churro sundae. The churros are offered with red or blue sugar, giving fans a chance to choose between the Light Side and the Dark Side.

A non-alcoholic watermelon lemonade called Jettion Juice is one of the beverage options. Adults can try the Skywalker Wine Flight, which includes wine from Skywalker Wineyards.

A full list of menu items is available on the Star Wars: Galactic Nights website.

The one-night-only event includes “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” fireworks shows, the “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” stage show, character meet-and-greets, special merchandise for sale, a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge panel discussion and more.

The 14-acre land is slated to open in 2019.

Select attractions like Star Tours and Toy Story Mania will also be open throughout the night.

Tickets are now on sale for the event. For more information, visit www.disneyworld.com/galacticnights or call (407) 934-7639.
