Forget that I-wonder-how-long-it's-been-on-the-sticky-bottom-shelf tequila, at least for this Friday. That's because Feb. 22 is National Margarita Day!

Now, there seems to be a "love it" or hate it" relationship with tequila. Try it -- ask anyone around you right now whether he or she is a "tequila person." The ones who aren't fond of it probably experienced one night back in '94 of overdoing the shot quantity.

Those who love it either a.) never tested their limit, b.) know tequila is for sipping and not shooting, or c.) consider the margarita their go-to libation.

If you're a lover of the distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant, get ready to raise your salt-rimmed glass, friends! That's because the fine folks at Cava del Tequila inside Epcot's Mexico pavilion are determined to titillate your palette.

In the video clips to the top right, Epcot’s very own tequila ambassador, Hilda Castillo, and her trusty bartender, Pepe, show you how to create their favorite margaritas -- step by step. As you'll quickly find out, using a few special and unexpected ingredients makes all the difference in the world.

The three beverages to make this Friday are:

Mix it up with Mezcal: Meet tequila’s smoky, herbaceous cousin, Mezcal. This silky spirit has found a home on the menu of some of the hottest cocktail bars in the country. (Watch MEZCAL MARGARITA.)

Cucumber Margarita -- No blender, no problem: No need to stick to the typical frozen stuff. Hilda can show you how to create unique margaritas on the rocks, like La Cava del Tequila’s famous jalapeno and cucumber margaritas. Includes: El Mayor Premium silver Tequila, triple sec, caramelized pineapple juice, fresh basil, cucumber and agave nectar, served on the rocks with a cactus-lemongrass Himalayan salt rim. (Watch CUCUMBER MARGARITA.)

Skinny Margarita -- Gourmet w/o the guilt: Want to indulge in your favorite tequila concoction but stick to your New Year’s resolutions at the same time? Learn how to make La Cava’s skinny margarita made with Azuñia organic 100% agave silver Tequila, fresh lime juice and a hint of organic agave nectar. (Watch SKINNY MARGARITA.)

Also in the video section, Hilda tells us all about Tequila, like where the city is located, what the distilled beverage is made of, and 5 difference classes of tequila. Have you heard of tequila joven? (Click on THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT TEQUILA.)

Why trust Hilda? This girl knows her stuff:

Born in the beautiful city of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, Hilda has learned from the best tasters in tequila. She started her career working at Jose Cuervo, and then went on to receive training from CRT Tequila Regulatory Council and renowned taster Ing. Francisco Hajnal. As the tequila ambassador for Epcot’s San Angel Inn, La Hacienda de San Angel, and La Cava del Tequila, Hilda knows everything there is to know about the 75+ tequilas that they carry.

La Cava del Tequila is located in Epcot's World Showcase within the Mexican temple. It is open 7 days a week serving tequila, mezcal, margaritas, beer and light appetizers.
