The Case Against Casey focused on the defense's motion to seal information uncovered in their preparation for a possible death penalty phase of the case.

Casey was in court Monday as her defense asked the judge to deny public access to discovery or specifically the witness list in the penalty phase of this case.

The defense argued that releasing information related to the penalty should not be revealed until a jury finds her innocent or guilty.

Ann Finnell, one of Casey's attorneys, said, "If this court does not take control of and provide some restrictions on the media and the access, I dare say Miss Anthony's due process rights are in severe jeopardy."

There was no ruling from the judge Monday.
