After sunny but cool Friday, temps tumbled quickly during the evening hours.

  • Dry stretch continues
  • More warmth and sunshine
  • Warm days, cool nights

We will see another chilly overnight across Central Florida, with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Warmer air is on track to move in on Saturday. We’ll again see plenty of sunshine during the day, but the warmth will begin to build across the area. Highs will push into the upper 70s and low 80s across the entire area.

Sunday looks even warmer. Expect another day of mostly sunny skies and highs back in the low to mid 80s.

Changes begin to arrive early next week. A weak cold front will push through the area Monday. The front will bring more clouds and a few scattered showers to the area. Highs for Monday will be in the low 80s.

Behind the front, windy and cooler conditions will move in for Tuesday. Partly cloudy skies will be prevalent on Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

The cooler temps will be short-lived and warmth quickly returns to the area Wednesday and Thursday. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will return both days, with highs in the low to mid 80s.

There are some early indications that the end of next week could feature very warm temps, with highs in the upper 80s to around 90.

Expect a great day for boating Saturday with seas 2-3 feet and wind at 5-10 knots. Surfers will have poor-to-fair conditions Saturday with a small northeasterly swell.

Water temps remain in the mid to upper 60s along the Atlantic coast.
