Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating skeletal remains found Thursday in a wooded area near a property on Curry Ford Road.

Deputies responded to 7421 Curry Ford Road around 5 p.m. in response to a report they received about remains found near the property.

The investigation is active and ongoing, deputies say.

No further information has been released by authorities at this time.
