Temperatures were chilly early Thursday morning with most spots in the mid to low 40s.

We had blue skies all afternoon long, but the sunshine was not enough to warm us up. We had highs in the mid to upper 60s; about ten degrees below average.

We’ll gradually warm back up the next couple of days with highs back in the low 80s this weekend as dry weather sticks around.

Clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be chilly again, falling into the mid to low 40s. Some spots will make it down into the upper 30s.

After the chilly start, we’ll warm into the upper 60s to low 70s Friday afternoon under plenty of sunshine. Winds will start to shift more the east-southeast, which will help to bump temperatures up even more this weekend.

Expect mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday as highs climb back into the low 80s. Our next chance for rain will be early next week, but it is only a small possibility. Temperatures will remain warm.

Ocean conditions improve quite a bit for Friday with only a light chop and a low rip current threat.
