After a warm Sunday, clouds are beginning to increase across the area.

A few showers will remain possible in areas north of Orlando overnight with mild lows in the low 60s.

Better rain chances are expected for Monday. A powerful storm system will move closer to the area, likely producing scattered showers and storms across part of the area. Highs for Monday will be in the mid 80s. Some storms could be strong Monday night in areas north of Orlando.

The storm system will then move through our area Tuesday, bringing the best chance for showers and storms. All of Central Florida could see strong to severe storms with this system, with the greatest threat being damaging winds. Highs for Tuesday will be in the low 80s with windy conditions.

Cooler air once again will march into the area starting mid-week. Expect plenty of sun Wednesday and Thursday, with highs only in the low 70s.

Warmer weather slowly returns by the end of the week, with highs back in the mid 70s Friday under mostly sunny skies.

Right now, next weekend looks great with plenty of sun both days and dry conditions. Highs both days will be in the low 80s.
