Two women were killed early Sunday in a crash on Interstate 4 in Seminole County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Estrellita Galarza, 24, was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on I-4 near mile marker 98.

Galarza fell asleep at the wheel and collided into the back of a Dodge pickup truck at about 5 a.m., according to a crash report. 

The vehicle then overturned, ejecting two passengers--Diana Almazan, 27, and Wendy Jaimes, 27, both of Sugar Hill, Georgia.

Both women were pronounced dead at the scene. 

Troopers said the passengers were not not wearing seat belts. 

Galarza was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation, but charges are pending.
