After a great St. Patrick’s Day, comfortable air will return to the region for the overnight.

  • Lows in the 60s
  • Increasing clouds Sunday
  • Rain chances increase Monday

Expect mostly clear skies across the area, with daybreak temps in the low to mid 50s.

Some changes are still on track to arrive starting Sunday. More moisture and warm air will move into the area, resulting in more clouds and warm temps. Clouds will increase during the day with an isolated shower possible late in areas north of Orlando. Highs for Sunday will be in the low to mid 80s.

Rain chances increase further heading to the start of the work week. Monday will feature partly sunny skies with a better chance of scattered showers developing. Temps will remain warm, with highs Monday back in the low to mid 80s.

A powerful storm system will begin to move toward the area on Tuesday. This will bring windy conditions and a very good chance of showers and even thunderstorms. There are some early indications that some storms may be on the strong side Tuesday. Highs for Tuesday will be in the low to mid 80s.

Behind the system, yet another round of cool air will march into the area. We’ll see plenty of sun Wednesday and Thursday, but temps will only rise into the upper 60s and low 70s.

Slightly warmer temps are expected to close the work week, with highs back in the low 70s. Right now, next weekend looks great with dry conditions and highs in the 70s and low 80s.
