More than a hundred international students hit the sand in Cocoa Beach -- not just for fun, but to help clean up.

The group 'Up With People' is a non-profit bringing kids from 20 different countries to live with local families.

As part of their visit, they are doing community projects like a beach clean-up Tuesday afternoon.

More than 50 students from across the world worked with reps from Keep Brevard Beautiful for a two hour effort.

“I feel like we are doing a good job. With 100 people you can do so much work in one day,” said Nickii Welthemann, a student From Switzerland. “I feel good helping clean the beach.”

The group also performed two benefit concerts on their trip.

All of their effort will benefit the Children's Hunger Project in Brevard County, which provides weekend and summer meals for needy children.
