After another warm evening, changes are on the way later tonight in Central Florida.

A cold front will quickly drop into Central Florida, bringing clouds and a few scattered showers in the early morning hours. Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.

Cooler air is on track for Friday. The cold front could spark a few morning showers in areas south of Orlando, but most will stay dry for the daytime hours. It will be breezy behind the front, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Even cooler temps are expected for the weekend. Some of the coolest air in weeks will push into the area, with plenty of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday. Highs both weekend days will be in the low to mid 70s, with overnight lows in the 40s and 50s.

The cooler air mass will continue heading into next week. Expect plenty of sun both Monday and Tuesday with breezy conditions. Temps both days will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Another cold front will arrive late Tuesday into Wednesday. This system could spark a few scattered showers. Highs both Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the 70s.

Behind the front, below average will likely continue to close next week.

Poor surfing conditions are expected for Friday. Wave heights will push up around waist to chest high, but will be mushy thanks to a long period swell and windswell mix. Officials along the east coast are warning of a high rip threat for our weekend, so heed warnings from lifeguards.
