About 2,500 runners made their way through and around Orlando City Stadium for the 3.1-mile race.

Organizers say it’s great to see so many people participating in the event.

“It’s just nice to see we have a community of runners here in Orlando who want to come out and participate and also a community of runners that are also Orlando City fans, said Mark White, manager of marketing and fan engagement for Orlando City Soccer.

Those who participated in the race received more than just a good workout. They were also given a ticket to an Orlando City Soccer game.

After the race, runners and supporters celebrate with refreshments, games and local food trucks.
