In Brevard County, police are looking for a masked man who smashed into a Palm Bay business, causing more than $1,000 in damage.

  • Smash & grab at Palm Bay's Wings and Things, says police
  • Owner says damage will cause $1,000 in repairs

The incident happened at the Wings and Things in the 4600 block of Babcock Street overnight Sunday.

Security cam footage shows the burglar hop the counter and go on a hunt for cash.

He rifled through a number of objects, then found the till and ripped it out of the counter.

Seconds later, the suspect ran out the front glass door he smashed to get inside.

“(He) broke the entire glass out of the door, damaged the computer and stole the cash drawer. I'm looking at $1,000 to repair all of this stuff now,” said Joan Collazo, owner of Wings and Things, “… it has to be done now; we have to operate. So it was an expensive $10 grab for him.”

If you have any information about the smash and grab, call Palm Bay Police or Crime line at 1-800-423-TIPS.
